การนำเสนอและอภิปรายองค์ความรู้ด้านกิณวิทยาตั้งแต่ความรู้พื้นฐานจนถึงความก้าวหน้าทางกิณวิทยาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการแพทย์ ครอบคลุมหัวข้อสำคัญ ได้แก่ วิทยาเชื้อรา พันธุศาสตร์ของเชื้อรา สภาวะพักตัว การเจริญเติบโต การงอก การสร้างสปอร์ และการแพร่กระจายของเชื้อรา ทั้งเชื้อราก่อโรคที่พบบ่อยและเชื้อราชนิดใหม่ การตอบสนองทางภูมิคุ้มกันต่อการติดเชื้อรา กลไกการเกิดโรค การระบุชนิดเชื้อราในห้องปฏิบัติการโดยใช้เทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ ยาต้านเชื้อรา เชื้อราประจำถิ่นและการก่อโรค ตลอดจนการวินิจฉัยเชื้อราขั้นสูงด้วยเทคนิคระดับโมเลกุลและการประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้ด้านกิณวิทยา โดยมุ่งเน้นองค์ความรู้และเทคโนโลยีทางกิณวิทยาที่ทันสมัย เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการวิจัยด้านการแพทย์ รวมถึงการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านสาธารณสุข

Presentation and discussion on recent advances in mycology in medicine. Topics include fungal biology, fungal genetics, dormancy, growth, germination, sporulation, and fungal dissemination, encompassing both common pathogenic fungi and emerging fungal species. The course also covers host immune responses to fungal infections, mechanisms of fungal pathogenesis, laboratory identification of fungi using modern technologies, antifungal agents, endemic mycoses, and their clinical manifestations. In addition, advanced fungal diagnostics employing molecular techniques and the application of mycological knowledge are emphasized, with a particular focus on contemporary mycological technologies and their application in medicine research and public health problem-solving.
