Presentation and discussion on recent advanced bacteriology in medicine. The topics include components, morphology, structure, physiology and genome of bacteria, the pathogenesis of bacterial infections, microbiome and human diseases, emerging of bacterial diseases, antimicrobial resistance and beneficial bacteria. Emphasis on advanced knowledge and technologies in bacteriology and their applications in medical research and public health problem-solving.
