This course focuses on understanding the structure and mechanisms of the urinary system, both in normal physiological states and pathological conditions. The curriculum integrates knowledge from foundational medical sciences such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Parasitology, with relevant clinical disciplines including Internal Medicine, Radiology, and Surgery. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of disease pathophysiology, diagnostic processes, treatment guidelines, and both essential and recommended prevention strategies for urinary system disorders. The course also highlights the importance of connecting foundational scientific knowledge to holistic patient care, while concurrently addressing the economic and management contexts within Thailand's public health system. This approach aims to equip students with an understanding of both the medical dimensions and the broader social implications of urinary system diseases.
